Repair and Maintenance of Tower Crane Mechanical Equipments

1. Check the brake of each mechanism regularly, and adjust the gap between brake shoe and brake wheel to ensure the mechanism flexible and safety. And there should be no dirt on friction surface, if there was , it must be washed off by gasoline or thinners.

2. Check the wire rope regularly , if the broken or loose part exceeds the specified requirements, it must be replaced immediately.

3. Check the connection of each part regularly, and tighten it if found any looseness. The tightness of tower crane connection bolts should be checked when the machine is pressurized. All connecting pin shafts must have cotter pins , which should be fully opened.

4.Check the operation of each mechanism regularly to make sure it is normal , no noise, etc. Timely eliminate and maintenance must be done if found any problem.

5.When installing, disassembling and adjusting the slewing mechanism, attention should be paid to ensure that the center line of the slewing reducer is parallel to the center line of the gear, and its engage surface is not less than 70%, engage gap should be suitable.
