Safety Technical Measures For Tower Crane Jacking

1. Before hydraulic jacking, check the steel structure and hydraulic system, If the steel structure is found to be damaged by welding, cracking or leakage of the hydraulic system, it must be stopped for repair before installation.

2. Tower crane jacking should strictly follow the operating rules.

Before jacking, turn the jib to the specified position. During jacking, only after the joint pre-tightening force of the added mast meets the requirements, can the rest mast be added again. Slewing and trolleying is prohibited during jacking, and continuous working time of the gear pump under the maximum pressure shall not exceed 3min.

3. Pay attention when connecting high-strength bolts, if two people are required to cooperate due to the large tightening force, the cooperator should hold the tools flat on the palm to avoid injury.

4. Operators must obey the command. If there are better methods and suggestions, they can only be implemented with the consent of the site construction and technical director, change the operation scheme without permission is not allowed.

5. After jacking of tower cranes, check whether the power supply is cut off, the left and right joysticks should be returned to the middle zero position, and the bolts of each section should be fastened. If there is anti torsion support, it can be used only after jacking and acceptance check according to regulations.

6. During installation, handrail, platform, retainer and other safety protection parts should be installed completely.

7. It is forbidden to use ordinary bolts instead of high-strength bolts, and the grade of high-strength bolts must meet the requirements of the instructions.

8. The on-site technical director should take a comprehensive inspection on the tower crane.

Take a comprehensive inspection on safety protection of the installation area, and organize all installation personnel to learn the installation scheme;

• The driver should take a comprehensive inspection on the mechanical components of each part of tower crane;
• The electrician should take a comprehensive inspection on the circuit, operation, control and braking system;
• The hoisting commander should take an overall inspection on the prepared machines, tools, equipment, ropes, shackles, rope clamps, etc.

9. The personnel participating in the operation must be on duty with certificates, and must abide by the safety rules and regulations of the construction site when entering the construction site.

10. Unified command, unified contact signal, reasonable division of labor, responsibility to person.

11.Listen to the weather forecast in time, stop working and make emergency precautions when there was sudden wind above four class and heavy rain.

12. Wear safety helmet when entering the site, correctly use the tested qualified safety belt when the height is more than 2m, and wear rubber soled anti-skid shoes and work clothes.

13. It is strictly prohibited to cross up and down without protection; it is strictly prohibited to work after drinking; heatstroke prevention and cooling work should be done well in high temperature weather; sufficient lighting should be provided for night working.

14. Tools for high-altitude operation must be put into the tool kit, and should not be randomly placed or thrown.

15. No one is allowed to stand under the jib.
