Tower Crane Electrical System is consists kinds of electric parts which make the tower crane work smothly. Today BQ is here to conclude some tips on the maintenance of tower crane electrical system, when there are some problems with the crane.

1. Check all electric wires and cables regularly, and repair or replace the damaged parts timely.

2. Stop working in time when the motor is overheating, continue running after the trouble is cleared. The lubrication of motor bearing should be good.

3. Keep the contact surface of brush clean, adjust the pressure of brush to assure the contact area is above 50%.

4. Clean the dust on the electric equipment timely and keep the control box and distribution box clean.

5. Opening and closing contact of limit switch of each safety device must be reliable, and contact arc and pit should be polished timely.

6. Measure the protecting ground resistance twice a year (in spring and autumn) to ensure it no more than 4 Ohms.
